Homemade Air Freshener That is Easy and Chemical Free!
Store bought air fresheners may be filled with harsh chemicals! Yuck! According to the National Resources Defense Council, "Even air fresheners marketed as "all-natural" or "unscented" contained the hazardous chemicals." Some air fresheners can contain phthalates chemicals, allergens, and VOCs, even cancer causing chemicals such as benzene and formaldehyde.

Searching the internet for a solution to eliminate that smelly odor can be confusing. Many claim to be "all natural" and "eco-friendly", but are they really? If you are looking for a air freshener, without harsh ingredients, try making your own air freshener from ingredients you already have at home. Your homemade air freshener is easy to make and will smell great when you are finished! All you need is a spray bottle water, vinegar, and essential oils.

Mix together the following ingredients:
1/4 cup vinegar
2 cups water
20 drops of essential oils

Once you have the mixture ready, pour it into your spray bottle.
Just remember it's important to shake before every use.
